ABOUT PEAGREEN

Peagreen Card Company began in the early 1990's as a way of sending greetings to friends and family in the form of pen and ink drawings. The drawings were a way of showing what was going on in my life and in the lives of those around me.

I discovered that others responded to my images; the basket of cards I put out at the store where I worked emptied, and Peagreen Cards was on its way.

Because I see things through a woman's eyes, many of my designs are about women; women flying, dreaming, celebrating, dancing, stretching and in relationship with others.

Spucky Cat and The Kid have been my dearest inspirations for cat and dog cards.  The bird feeder and woods are rich with subject matter for drawing, and the gardens in the spring and summer are full of pictures.

Clear night skies in rural Maine are filled with thousands of stars, inspiring the background of many of my cards.   Yoga, trees, friends, music and moons enrich our lives and are reflected in Peagreen imagery.

Last year I began adding color to some of my black and white drawings and it was so much fun that I decided to add them to my line of note cards.  Some people love them and some stick with the black and white cards.  I enjoy finding new ways to present my artwork and Peagreen now offers prints, calendars, and women's shirts as well as note cards and boxed gift sets.

Thank you for taking a look at my web site...enjoy!
